Lower Niagara River · November to April · Queenston Boat Ramp

Niagara River fishing charters from the Queenston Boat Ramp

$650, five hours, November through April, HST included. King Slayer runs the lower river out of the Queenston Boat Ramp for one to three guests.

The cold season program

In the cold months the King Slayer crew puts the trolling gear away and runs conventional tackle instead, so the day is spent bottom bouncing, casting and jigging.

  • Brown trout
  • Lake trout
  • Walleye

Licences and the border

Everyone between 18 and 64 needs a valid Ontario fishing licence. River trips can cross into New York State waters, and when that happens everyone on board needs a valid New York State licence too, about $15 CAD for a one day licence, no passport required.
